Yes! We all have runs like this & they are usually followed shortly after by a great run. Sometimes our bodies force us to slow down even when we don't want to. Kick butt on your next run!

Most of the time for me I will have totally crap runs a few days before my period... could you be PMSing? But no matter what the reason, bad runs always suck. There's nothing worse than starting out and realizing... nope. It's not going to happen today. Last Saturday I ran six miles and maintained a good pace- and then Tuesday I barely made it two miles before I wanted to sleep on the trail. Next run will be better!
