I'm pretty sure my credit score sucks, but I can't muster up the energy to care.

I only skimmed, but yeah, I have always had Vantage scores that were in the 750-805 range over the last few years. But I found out my FICO was not actually that great. Not sure what it is now, but at one point I applied for a card and had a 690 FICO according to the paperwork they sent me (still got approved) and my Vantage score at that point said it was like 760ish.

I was confused why it was such a big difference...I think I even posted about it back at the old place.
