I have to post and run, but I wanted to know people's thoughts on buying bras as you go?
I was a 34C for years. Went off the pill last August, and the boobies shrunk to a 34B (pre-bcp size) so I bought a handful of new bras.
Then, I got pregnant lol. I have a couple of the 34C left (I was at least that prepared/optimistic) and will need them soon. I may even need them now, but I'm in denial. I am already popping out of the B. Yikes. :-(
So, when do people usually buy new bras throughout this game, and how many?
Do you buy maternity bras or just the next size you need in a regular bra?
And this is waaaay far away but is there such a thing as an attractive nursing bra??

I don't really have advice about sizing as you go, because my boobs don't get bigger until after baby is born, so I've only had to get bigger post-partum bras and nursing bras.
And yes, cute nursing bras exist! I know because I sometimes see them on sale on zulily. I don't buy any cause I'm cheap, tho. Ha. But check out Hot Milk bras.
I haven't had to buy anything new yet...my boobs were a 34A pre-pregnancy and now they're just...fuller. I'm still wearing the same bras.
I feel like that's unusual, though - all my baby books are like, "Your boobs must be bigger now, time to buy new bras!" And I'm not even close to needing them
So, in short - I'm curious about this, too. haha.
Nah, not you're not alone. Maybe it's a small-boobied thing. I am also an A. And I had glorious, wonderful, beautiful B cups.... But not until I was nursing. I felt like Pamela Anderson or something, I was very proud of those things!

I started as a 34C and had to move up to a D within the first 8 weeks. I'm now wearing a 36DD that I bought for cheap at Target to hold me over. I'm a first time mom so I'm waiting to buy nursing bras, but from what I've seen there is no such thing as a cute one.

I'm a 34B and I am filling out my bras a bit more. Hopefully I can go at least a few more weeks before having to spring for new bras. I'm just going to get the cheapest bras I can find as the pregnancy progresses and then splurge on good nursing and post-partum bras. Or is that a terrible idea in terms of feeling comfortable during pregnancy?

I bought some cheap bras when I was pregnant with DS at target. I mainly went with nursing bras from target too. They don't carry the ones I liked the best anymore. That makes me sad.
I found most nursing bras weren't that comfy and I'm only a 36C on a good day.
I just bought a few new bras but in a bigger band size as baby has moved up higher, my cup size stayed the same, in the last month or so. I bought one Motherhood nursing bra just to get a feel for it and it wasn't horrible, I got a nude without underwire so no digging or anything.

I'm in the same camp as @iamsnazzy and blindyswife. I'm a 32C and my boobs are a little fuller, but no real growth. blindyswife, lol re: feeling like Pamela Anderson!
Buy a few that fit. Don't go crazy., but you need to be comfortable and it's better to just get some good bras that fit. Even if you still get bigger, you'll use them again on the other side. Lol.

Thanks all SO much for the input. It seems like the overall feeling is that most maternity bras are lame, (will try your suggestion though blindyswife) and I only need a couple (I hope) bigger ones to get me through. Honestly, I was so happy to be back to a 34B because I was thinner everywhere else anyways, and my boobs were just not working for me with my overall look lol
I am just not used to spilling out of a B so much I guess. They are like, rounder than normal too, which is nice, but they just hurt so bad I don't even appreciate how pretty they look right now! hahaha Is it bad I'm kinda AWing my boobs?!
I reallllly hope everything returns to a 34B after b-feeding and pp, etc. You guys, these smaller bras I bought are so pretty boo hoo
With DS, I was a 36C and around 20 weeks I had to upgrade to a D. I delivered at 26 weeks so I have no idea how much more I would have grown (if at all) had I made it full term. This time, I'm starting again at 36C so I'm interested to see how big I'm going to get...
