hotel w/over water bungalows NOT in South Pacific?

Is anyone aware of a hotel in Bermuda, the Caribbean, Mexico, or similar area, that has over the water bungalows?  We stayed in one while visiting Tahiti, and I'm curious to see if there are similar accommodations available closer to home.

I looked into this a while ago and we never ended up doing it. There are some in the areas you mentioned above, although they will never fully compare to Tahiti (but I'm sure you know that!). I looked into 9 Beaches in Bermuda but decided against it after reading crappy reviews. It looks like they're undergoing an extensive renovation though, so it might be nicer when they're done.

The Maldives are gorgeous and have a ton of them, but it's probably equally as far as Tahiti.

I have no clue how comprehensive it is and I cannot vouch for any of these places.

Re the Panama mention - it is awesome there and I would love to go back.
