We went to this new korean restaurant for the lunch special-$4.99. I paid for my co-worker and I and just realized I forgot to leave the tip. I am horrified because the service was good and there were a ton of little plates. It is 15 minutes away. WWYD? Drive back later? Forget about it and just tip extra next time?
I don't think I would drive back right now. If you're going to be in that neighborhood in the next few days, I would drop it off then. If you're not going to be in the area, stick a few bucks in an envelope and mail it to the restaurant. If you don't know your server's name, call the restaurant and get it.
Did you use a credit card? You could call and ask them to add a tip to the bill.
No. The total was like $11. I paid cash.
I'd call the restaurant and see if you can get the server's name (1. to get the name, 2. so they will maybe explain to the server that you just forgot and didn't stiff) and say that you are really sorry, then drop it off in a few days. But I'd leave like double or triple what you would have otherwise.
