How long after implantation bleeding can you test?

If the symptoms you are having are because your pregnant then test now. (If you have symptoms then it is time to test.)

However just because you have symptoms also does not mean that you are pregnant.

Oh, I know, lol. I am sure that I am just about to have an AF, but at the same time I am driving myself mad. I just wasn't sure if its too early to test. I hope that makes sense.

Just test and see what it says if BFN then wait a day or two and test again if no AF.

If it's right before AF it may be just starting off slowly? Do you chart? How do you know you Oed? Take a test if you are concerned, it can't hurt.

What DPO are you?

Generally, if the embryo has implanted, then there is HCG in your system. Whether or not it's enough to be picked up by a test depends on what kind of test. Many tests are fairly accurate as early as 11-12 DPO, though you could get a positive as early as 9 or 10 DPO on some tests. If it's positive that early, then it's usually right. If it's negative, then it might just be too early for that test to pick up the HCG.

Somewhere on FF there is a comparison of different brands of test and what percentage of the time they are accurate at each DPO.

My bfp, I thought my period was starting, but then it didn't, so I tested about two days into implantation bleeding. Test! GL!

Thanks for all the replies. I had my mirena out in July last year and since then I have my AF every 32-37 days (accordng to my period tracker I am averaging 35 days). I judge when I ovulate by the change in my CM. Not an exact science, but it still gives me an idea. I o'ed on the 15th and my AF should be due around Tuesday. I don't temp because of my work patterns (I work nights 2 nights a week). So according to those dates I am now 10DPO and my spotting started on 8DPO.
I did a test this afernoon but it was BFN. I think that I will wait until Tuesday morning to test again. Who know's, maybe my spotting will turn into an AF. I don't mind either way, although I just wish it would hurry up because my boobs are hurting a lot (even swimming hurts) and they have grown half a cup size (at least) in the last 12 hours.

This happened to me last cycle, I started spotting 8 DPO and thought it was IB, but alas AF began (albeit light) on 11 DPO. I tested on 10 DPO to be sure and it was a BFN.

I wouldn't rely on CM to know if/when you've ovulated. I've had fertile CM all week but according to temps, I haven't O'd yet.

I also work nights 3-4 nights a week and while it is a bit more difficult, it is possible to temp while working night shifts. I simply take my temp after I've had the most sleep, instead of at the same time every day. for instance I got off work at 7:30 this morning. I went to bed about 8:30, and woke up at 12:30, took my temp. it is still low. it means lots of open circles on my chart, but I put notes in it constantly so I know when I worked or not.

I wouldn't rely on CM alone. Your CM can vary so much. I would at least try to use opks as well.

I never temp at the same time nor do I have 3 hours of sleep every time and I still see a temp shift after I O.

10 DPO is still a little bit early to test. If you have cheapie tests like wondfos then you can test every day until AF or a BFP. Or if your tests are more expensive, then wait till maybe 13 or 14 DPO to test again.

I agree with temping and/or OPKs though.
