We moved into our house in May of 2011. Almost immediately, we discovered that the caulking around the master shower hadn't been maintained, and it had caused the subfloor to rot. So we ended up with a hole in the family room ceiling, and a hole in the floor in the bathroom.
And it has been that way ever since. Well, okay, that's not fair. My husband did cut a piece of drywall to repair the hole in the family room ceiling, but it hasn't been mudded or textured. And there's still a hole in the bathroom floor. "I'll get to it."
Baseball season is upon us. He's looking forward to the new MLB game for Playstation, but his bit the dust over the winter. He's also planned which games he'll be going to see with the kid.
So we made a deal- he can buy a new Playstation and tickets for the games, no problem.
But he can't do it until the ceiling is textured, the hole is fixed, and the sheet vinyl replaced.
