Okay, I have no experience with Delia's. Am I too old (I graduated from high school in '95) or was I just hopelessly uncool?
I definitely remember slap bracelets, but I thought they were 80s.
may have started in the 80s, but I was only 5 in '89 and I remember being older than than when I begged my dad to buy me first one at the gas station one day (he totally did (heart))

Slap bracelets were definitely 80s, and I think we're too old for Delia's. I graduated high school in 94. The big fashions in high school and middle school were IOU Sweatshirts and ZCavaricci's.
Does anybody remember Clarrisa Explains it All on Nick? I saw it was on the other night., and started watching it. I could no even get through 5 minutes. It made me sad because I loved it when I was a kid.

I loved it. And Alex Mack. And Are You Afraid of the Dark?
We watched a Saved By the Bell episode recently. The anti-drug one. It was painful. "There's no hope with dope!"

Ooh, with the heartthrob actor who was the Worst Guy Ever because he smoked pot. Yes.

We were all about grunge in high school--baggy boy's jeans, flannel shirts, old man thrift shop sweaters, and doc martens. I was not a very attractive look. By '95 I was in college and wearing J. Crew, Gap, and Banana Republic.
My sister still has an old Delia's sweatshirt of mine. It has a rainbow ribbon across the front and down the sleeves. It must have been the ugliest thing I ever got there, and I still have to see it 15 years later!
I had saved my very first Teen magazine ( August 93) and my mom threw it out a few years ago. I'm so mad, I would love to have looked through it again. No one happens to have this copy do they?
