Pulling together paperwork for our IRS paper audit.
I feel like the tax gods picking on me :-). 3 audits in 3 years (1 state (MA wanted us to pay state income tax for the year after we moved) and 2 federal).
How does that work? Do you just get a letter saying you are being audited and they tell you what paperwork they need? What a pain.
yup. We are being audited for dependents and child care credit so basically I have to send in the kids birth certificates proving they are ours along with all our bills from daycare.
