Mine doesn't. I think it's good! If you hate running it means it's probably something you need to work on. I hate running too, cuz I suck at it, so really I need to do it more. I thought I would totally fail at last night's WOD due to the running, but not only did I finish but I actually was only behind the top girls by like 5 minutes. I was pretty impressed with myself!
Nope. I go first thing in the morning and it's always a surprise. They post it on Beyond The Whiteboard in the afternoon, so night people can see it in advance.
I like it that way. Otherwise I'd probably avoid the crappy ones.
Yes, it's posted by 8pm the night before. I like it because I only go 3 days right now so I can be choosy (sp?) but not because imintimidated but I might need a break from arms or vice versa.

I still consider myself a technique newbie so I like to watch YouTube of all the more complex lifts before the WOD. Also, the typically post a Kstar mobility exercise for us to watch.
Nope. They don't post the WOD on the website until the end of the day. I prefer it like that because you can't talk youself out of going once you are there. They also very much frown upon posting anything about the WOD on FB since people in the AM classes know people in PM classes!
My coach told us once that people would leave days the WOD was just a lot of heavy lifting because they wanted a different workout, which I think is crazy.
Yes, they post in the morning before the first class (so around 6, I believe). My trainer will often tell us the WOD for the next day (except Saturday because that is trainers choice) or let us know if he thinks we'll have trouble with parts of it based on the WOD we just did.
Skipping due to WOD fear is frowned upon, however. I like knowing what I'm getting into. Tonight = 100 pull ups total and I HATE pull ups so I'll be psyching myself up all day to get ready!
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee
