do you change his or her wet diaper while s/he is up at night? Or do you just try to get your kid back to sleep? I am not talking about poopy diapers, just wet ones.

It depends. Sometimes Zoe falls asleep before I expect her to and I don't get a chance to change her last diaper of the evening. When that's the case, I change it at her first wake up.

If its one of those nights where she won't go back down or nurses several times I will. Mostly because DH will be like "well did you change her?" ,as if I'm to blame for the waking. She's usually not wet but in those cases it shuts his trap.

No diaper change for wet. We put him in a size bigger nighttime diaper with some A&D. Unfortunately he has been enjoying a 5am poop for the last few weeks. So I change him after the poop.
Nope. I would only change his diaper if he pooped, which he never does at night. When he wakes up, he nurses for a few minutes and then goes right back to sleep.

Yup. DH goes in for the diaper change and then passes her off to me to eat. She can't stand a wet diaper when trying to fall asleep. Her skin is so sensitive though, so I'm too scared to try the baby dry or things of the like.
No, but maybe that's why he's been so difficult to get back to sleep. It didn't used to bother him, so I didn't really think of that. I'm gonna try it tonight and see if helps.

Nope. They are usually pretty loaded with pee by morning, but she's never been bothered by a wet diaper. I just feel like, it can be hard to get her back to sleep.... Waking her further to change her would likely make it worse!

We have to change him if he wakes during the night and gets a bottle. If we don't, he will make his crib into a waterbed. It happens all.the.time. if we don't change him.
My kid likes to poop very early morning so there is a diaper change from that most mornings, but like lastingly at 1:30 he ate and it was pretty full of pee so I changed it then he pooped at 5 and woke up so I changed him and got him back to sleep.
