My favorite red is a Pinot Noir.............LOVE. Merlots are probably one of the "drier", and sometimes bitter in the red family. Cab's are always welcomed by most. But, if it were me, I'd go to a wine store ( or section of the store) and find a $20-$30 bottle of Pinot Noir.......one with a fun label.

Hm, I would say probably something from Bordeaux, I think there are some decent ones from Pomerol or St Emilion available in that price range. Look for vintage year 2009 as its an exceptional year for Bordeaux.
I don't know what this is but can't wait to try it in. A few months.
Spanish full to medium bodied red wines....they are always such a pretty deep, deep red color. Do you like full bodied reds? Tempranillo are lower in acidity and usually have cherry or strawberry notes sometimes with a little spice. You will LOVE! Tempranillo and Shiraz blends are good too, but I don't see those as often. =(

that sounds really good. I like fruitier wines from time to time. I will make to have a glass or 3 in july.
