On Monday. Crazy.
Anyway, since we havent really discussed it with the REA and I am working tomorrow and late on Monday, what is expected of me? Do I need a babysitter for Monday night? Can my H sign the offer for both of us?
If you love the house, you may not want to wait for monday to submit the offer. DH and I decided to wait over a weekend before submitting an offer on a home that had been on the market >180 days. By monday morning, it was in contract with someone else. I still daydream about that house...

They are holding offers. We will register an offer now but we will wait to find out how many before we finalize. Lots of offers, we might offer more. This is competitive buying in Toronto.
There were definitely a lot of papers to sign when we put an offer on our house. I would want to both be there. Can your REA come to your house? We just met ours at a coffee shop to sign paperwork (and I was still pregnant at the time so no rambunctious toddler to worry about). Maybe that seems like an odd idea, but we hit it off quickly with our realtor and would consider her a friend now, so it doesn't seem too weird to me.
Some of you need to watch more HGTV. In hot Canadian markets, sellers hold offers, then everyone interested submits blind on a specific day, knowing how many other people are offering, but not knowing how much. It's like an evil auction.
Hanna ... yes, you both will have to sign the offer - can your REA come to you or does he want you available at the offer site in case the sellers send back the offers? if so then I'd get a sitter for DD. Good luck!!
ETA - in multiple offer situations rules state they have to be registered so if you can have it drawn up and signed today it can be registered for tomorrow - the offers should be presented in the order they are registered (at least that's the way the rules & regulations for our board are written and I believe it's the same for all Ontario boards).

This. Hanna, speak to your realtor so they can do all the paperwork today and present the offer tomorrow. When I sold my house last year we had 14 bids and some of the bidders were waiting outside in the car for their realtor and others were on the phone. You just need to be accessible in case they call you asking if you will increase the offer/change conditions etc. Buying a house is so exciting, I love the adrenalin rush! Good luck.

They can send you everything electronically to sign. I only signed in the office on one offer, we submitted several more after that on different houses that were all sent through DocuSign. I wouldn't wait either. Do it today!
