I think Kate might have an ear infection, so I'm planning on taking her to an urgent care facility. There are 3 within 15 minutes of my house, however there's a pediatric urgent care about 35 minutes away. WWYD? Drive to the one that specializes in children? Or go to the regular center, which sees people of all ages?

I would always choose an actual pediatrician over a family or general ER doc. But I'm biased, as my hubby is a pediatrician. Still, it's 3 years of training and an entire career of seeing kids vs. 3 months of peds training and someone who doesn't see infected ears all the time.
The difference in driving time is small enough that I would go to the pediatric one, unless you have a really crazy day ahead of you or you don't like the doctors there.
Pediatric. They are more versed in what to do, meds/doses to prescribe. At our regular urgent care, they always have to page a pediatrician and the visit takes longer.
I'm sure I you've already gone by now, but I would go to the pediatric one because there are more regular sick people at urgent care places. Like, people with the flu.
