So, ^ this is the carseat we bought for DH's car. It is rather large and doesn't fit well in his 2010 Corolla, but would probably fit better in my '96 Blazer. I guess I'm looking for something a bit smaller that will last up to the same weight and is cheaper but about the same quality. What did you ladies buy?
E is about .5 lb away from outgrowing the infant seat I have been using. Taking the other seat out and using it for both cars is not really an option since we wouldn't have much time to keep reinstalling it.
Hey, do either of you know - are you supposed to take the padding out of the Triumph? Is it an infant insert or does it stay in? I couldn't find anything in the manual about it.
Lydia - I was looking at getting that carseat too. There is a Maxi Cosi Pria one that I was looking at which seems similiar to this one but the Pria is a lot more expensive. How do you like the Safety First so far? I had read a review about the Pria and how well the material is for hot weather and since I am in FL and L sweats in the Britax I wanted one like this. My husband has a Toyota Tundra so fitting it in wouldn't be an issue. I have a Celica which I don't even have a carseat in because it's too small in the back.

I like it pretty well except that the angle the manufacturer wants it to be at is imposible in DH's car so I am basically kissing the dashboard and it's not even as far back as it should be. E seemed really comfortable in it and it is easy to adjust. It us sometimes hard to fit her in sitting up far enough because her shoulder hit the head rest if I try to scoot her up, but if I put her arms in it isn't a problem.
