Do you get your hair cut wet or dry? The one and only time that I got a deva cut turned my hair into one uneven mess. She cut it dry the way it layed that day. and then the next day it laid differenctly and it looked uneven and ragged.
As a curly I wish I could help but there isn't that many different haircuts for curlies. You can style different ways once it's cut but I usually get a deva cut with it shorter in the front to frame my face a little.
