When XH used to live here, we got a ton of stuff: papertowels, toilet paper, meat (buy in bulk, then freeze it), chips, the rotisserie chicken is delicious, clothes some times, milk, frozen tilapia, I would get all our cakes there for larger birthday parties, we bought our DSL camera there, our tvs there, wine, laundry detergent and probably a ton of stuff I'm forgetting.
Now that its just me and the kids, I don't really shop there.
Their Kirkland wine is really good, if you are a wine drinker.
I go to CostCo weekly. I buy the following things regularly:
-5lb. Bag of Baby Carrots (DH eats this in one week. Not kidding.) -Organic Ground Beef -Organic Chicken Breasts and Thighs -Fage Greek Yogurt -Seaweed Snacks -Laundry Detergent/Dishwasher Detergent, Trash Bags, Ziplock Bags, etc. -Smoked Salmon -Organic Apples (To make applesauce.) -Organic Chicken Broth -Coconut Oil -Organic Frozen Mixed Berries
I buy these less often, but have found them to be great:
-Kirkland Toilet Paper (Every 5-6 months. It lasts a while.) -Dog Beds (We have two) -Eco Fire Logs -Various Clothing Items (typically workout gear and socks)
I would get way more at CostCo if we had the room. I can't wait to buy a house this summer so we finally have room to store bulk items. I'm also really interested to check out their furniture selection when we're ready for new furniture. Seems like most of it is pretty high quality and very well priced.
Yesterday we bought a mattress, Fiber One brownies, chicken, and pistachios. It was our first time there, it was super crowded, and we were overwhelmed. I plan on being prepared next weekend.
Does anyone use the Kirkland dog food? I've heard its rated well, but haven't googled it myself.
We use the dog food and have been very pleased. We heard great things about it from others so we decided to give it a try.
Costco used to be the closest grocery store to our house. My list: produce (particularly in-season, but anytime, spinach, lettuce, carrots, bell peppers, etc) canned tomatos canned beans spices if they were ones I use a lot of tp (when they have coupons) meat - loved the chicken breast and the pork loin packs... easy freezing in small-ish portions frozen berries shampoo and conditioner (when they have coupons) babybel light cheese rounds dave's killer bread
And other random things that stood out... For a while, ours had some really nice chicken sausages that I really liked, but they only carried them sporadically.

Bagels, when we're feeling like a carb splurge Razors Vitamins Most of our snack food Individual hummus Chicken tortilla soup Individual bags of sliced organic apples or baby carrots Sometimes we just go in for the samples - I can basically be set for lunch some weekend days! Brushes for our Sonicare toothbrushes Towels
Otherwise it's random - whatever looks good. It's just the two of us, so we look for things that are individually packaged, or smaller packages grouped together.
Has anyone mentioned the hot dogs yet? For $1.59, you get the world's best hot dog (Julia Child agrees with me!) and a soda + refill. Even the bun that comes with the hot dog is delicious. I will probably die an early death, but I get this at least once a week.
