I have been leaving her with three 5-oz bottles of breastmilk and the equivalent of 2 jars of baby food for the span of about 8 hours. She also snacks on puffs. On weekends she is not nursing too much and my supply is pretty awful. I am wondering if I can increase the amount of solids and maybe give two 6-oz bottles instead. Since she is not nursing as frequently when we are together, this seems logical. But I'm not sure what to give them for more food. I get nervous enough about BLW, I can't imagine giving them things like that. But as Tamb said, you can't do purees for 2 years.
So what are you sending to DC? And how much? Thanks

For the week (4 days) I send 4 jars baby food (organic), 4 yogurts, cheese and grapes. The daycare cuts these up. The daycare also provides Cheerios for snacks. She also has two 6 ounce bottles per day. She is there 7:30-4:00.
In the last 3 weeks or so my LO has been taking 2 bottles a day. They are usually 5-6oz. She eats a breakfast of oatmeal with a fruit, lunch with oatmeal and a veggie and cheerios for snack.
She was taking 3 bottles, almost 6 oz each before 8 months.

I am now sending formula to DC. I send 3 6oz bottles. He usually only eats 2 these days.
Right now his feeding schedule looks something like this: 7:00 Bottle and breakfast at home 8:00 Arrive at DC 9:30 Small snack (usually some puffs) 10:00 6oz bottle 11:30 Lunch (usually cereal and fruit mix (5 oz) and some finger foods like cheese chunks) 2:30 Small Snack (Fruit chunks, cheese chunks, quesedilla, puffs, yogurt melts or mum mum. Sometimes a pouch of food (4oz)) 3:00 6oz bottle (I pick him up at 4) 5:30 Dinner (puree and whatever we are having for dinner) 7:30 6oz bottle
He does not always eat everything every day. I keep some snack foods there and some I pack each day. Whatever he doesn't eat comes back home and I usually give it to him at dinner time. He is great with finger foods and we feed him pretty much anything we are eating as long as it is not very unhealthy.
A has drastically decreased her BM intake at daycare. She only takes 4-8oz usually. That's good since my pumping output has sucked. Sometimes she takes 10oz, but that's rare these days. DC provides solids. She usually has a veggie mixed with cereal in the morning. Then a snack like cheerios or animal crackers. Then in the afternoon she'll have a fruit mixed with cereal and another snack later, usually banana or pear. I'm actually going to talk to them this week about starting her on their regular food menu, but I don't know what that includes.
I was worried about her milk intake while there, but the pedi said as long as she's getting at least 20oz of milk and 3 meals, she's good. She still has 3-4 good nursing sessions when I'm with her, so I think she's fine
Daycare now offers her their foods, but I still send purée because otherwise they give her too much applesauce for my liking.
So she might have some pancake, fruit, yogurt at about 10. Pasta with chicken and veg, or maybe grilled cheese etc. at noon. Crackers puffs etc sometimes. Usually once during the day they give cereal mixed with 3 cubes of purée (or applesauce haha)
I send 3 x 4oz BM sometimes she drinks it, often she has mybe 10 oz total.
I've been thinking of making and freezing some fork mashed/ chunky meat and veg type things to send. I'm vaguely unhappy with the repetitiveness of what they give her. Though, it is " free"
I dont do purees at home (do BLW) but we do for daycare. I'm hoping to talk to them soon and start sending table food (cheese, fruit, beans)
We currently send 1 yogurt for the am (10ish) and then they give him a 3-4oz veggie puree around 1 or 2. He has a jar of puffs to snack on while he's there.
He was drinking about 12oz of BM while there but we just switched to formula. I think I'm going to send him with 3 6 oz bottles tomorrow
He gets 2x 8 oz bottles, cereal, and assorted food from home. This includes: a banana, 4-6 oz of pureed fruits or veggies and puffs/teething toasts. We are starting to have him eat from their menu, but only the fruits and veggies (no meats yet at DC)

Ari gets 2 7oz bottles and eats 2 meals. For bfast he usually has fruit puree- 4 oz and some puffs. For lunch, it's typical finger food puree and more puffs. It's hard because he is MSPI and I know their food options are not ok for him. After we do his dairy challenge next month we will decide what to do regarding their food options and send our own full meals.
I send 3 6oz bottles of BM, but she only drinks two. The third is in case something urgent were to come up and we couldn't pick her up until later than normal. I usually send 1-2 cubes of fruit (1oz ea) and 3 cubes of veggies. I also send a little cup of yogurt, which is equivalent to half of a Gerber baby yogurt container. She doesn't eat that much so I split those into 2 servings. They offer her those things in variety through the day. They also give oatmeal for breakfast that I provide.

D gets 12oz-14oz of BM on the days I'm gone and about 4oz of fruit purées for lunch. She gets Cheerios w/ me for lunch but hasn't done finger foods w/ the nanny yet. I do her dinner right when I get home which is 4oz of veggie purée, however much barley she will eat, and is just barely starting to get a few bits of stuff we are eating. We will add breakfast soon but she doesn't seem hungry between morning nursing sessions so we'll see if she's into it. We are going to try lamb or some kind of meat next weekend.
Sams milk intake has been much less the last couple weeks. She's only been taking about 10-12 oz a day, and will only take 3 and 4 oz bottles. She gets breakfast, lunch, and also a snack. Breakfast is usually eggs/oatmeal and a fruit puree. Lunch is veggie puree and yogurt. Snack is puffs / yogurt drops / fruit chunks.
