It's going to be fairly basic this week:
Chicken (either sauteed or in some sort of sauce), veggies and mashed potatoes or bread. Perhaps breakfast for dinner one night Homemade fishsticks with veggies or apples and mashed potatoes.
The bulk of my creativity tonight will consist of baking for the office tailgate party (I'm going to make brownies and cheese straws, but one of those items may stay home for snack time).

I always want to contribute to this post, but DH does all the cooking so I usually don't know what we're eating until he's cooking it. Usually once a week or so he needs a break and I cook, in which case he tells me the protein to make and I pick the sides.
Um. Meal planning.... Here's my meal plan. I made a lot of quinoa and rice over the weekend, and I will alternate slapping chicken or salmon on the Foreman Grill and microwaving something green. Douse everything in garlic salt and lemon pepper. Add tzatziki to salmon. Feta or goat cheese on everything, always.
On Sunday, I will make a lot of something in the Crock Pot. Maybe a pot roast. Maybe a pork loin. If I'm feeling fancy, I will make two Cornish Hens and pretend I'm rich when I eat mine.
I might also order a pizza some night, and jalapeno poppers, because my pizza place does the cream cheese ones, which are WAY better than the cheddar ones.
Last night was leftover bread and fancy cheeses. Tonight will probably be something like pho (DH and I usually pick up food on the way back from therapy). Wednesday will be whatever my friend who hosts craft night makes for us. Thursday will likely be pasta. Friday night I'm going out for my friend's birthday dinner.
