I asked him about - poo in her vagina. I've been concerned about this even though I know really theres nothing I can do besides clean it out! - her milk intake, what is too much food/too little milk. - transitioning her from breast milk to cows milk - what foods still shouldn't be introduced between now and 1 (he said honey, shellfish and nuts/peanut butter) - MOTN feeds, I was just curious what his thoughts were as I still do one MOTN most of the time.
seems mine are all food related pretty much.
I didn't even think about asking anything about dental as she only has one tooth. I am wondering now if I should be brushing that one tooth though.
Mine are mostly food related...how I should start decreasing formula (or do I follow his lead), how they suggest the transition to milk (cold turkey? Gradual?), how they recommend the transition off the bottle and to a sippy cup, what foods should I still be avoiding (my pedi is conservative on things like eggs and cutrus - I want the OK to give them, hopefully). What things to look out for developmentally the next few months...
Then a few specific questions to E...I'm a little concerned that he doesn't attempt the pincer grasp (although I am probably overreacting), he keeps gettng these weird bumps by his eyes, etc.
Henry actually has an appointment with his pediatric dentist next week and I am going to ask him about caring for E's teeth.
Good is brushing once a day. Great is twice a day, anytime. Best is twice a day, morning and before bed.
So he said its fine to do once a day and start the habit. I've been trying to remember to do twice but some days I still only do before bed. She has 4 teeth.
