What are you currently doing for baby's teeth? Are you brushing them? How often? With a fingertip brush or baby-sized toothbrush? Anything else I should be thinking of that I am not currently?
Emmy has two bottom teeth and we aren't doing anything. I tried brushing them once with a fingertip brush and she wasn't having it so I gave up. I am going to start brushing them at least once a day, I think.

Almost once a day. Sometimes we skip nights though. We use a regular baby toothbrush. Edie never liked the fingertip one but liked the regular one. So we went right to that with Adeline.

I posted what my pedi said to do in UncleJesse's 9 month appointment thread. I do it with a fingertip brush. M loves it, so its easy. Try the soft toothbrush....maybe she will prefer that.

It's part of our nightly bath routine. We have a soft kid's toothbrush that we use and he LOVES it. I'm not sure how thorough I'm being, but it's good practice nonetheless.

We always tell our patients to brush their child's teeth twice daily. You can use a regular baby brush or a finger one. Which ever you prefer. We recommend using fluoride toothpaste, but to put as little as possible on the top of the bristles.

I just got some little baby toothbrushes on the pedi's rec. Mostly because it will be good OT for Claire's texture and gagging issues, but also to brush their little teeth now that they each have two.
We do it as part of our bedtime routine. We use a baby toothbrush and baby toothpaste. He seems to enjoy it, and honestly it's been a big help in distracting him long enough to get a diaper on him without our typical wresting match.
