I had a consult with my OB for what I was pretty sure was LPD (luteal phase defect). I showed him my 6 months worth of charts. Told him how B6 and a B vitamin complex did not help. He agreed with me that it seems to be LPD.
The plan is: 1. Retesting my thyroid (I had it tested before my pregnancy with DD after I had 2 miscarriages) 2. Start progesterone suppositories immediately after O this cycle. 3. Start Clomid CD 3-7 next month if my thyroid results are normal. Continue with progesterone immediately after O.
I had my bloodwork done tonight before we left the hospital. I call for my results on Thursday.
I'm glad to have a plan. But I'm sad that once again my body seems to be failing me. This time worse than before.
If anyone has any experience with LPD, please let me know. My OB will probably send me some stuff to read.
I don't have any experience with this either but I'm glad you have a plan in place. I hope everything works out for you and you get this figured out soon so you can get your BFP.

Glad you have a plan. If you are going to take Clomid, you should be closely monitored, preferably by an RE. It involves CD3 and 7DPO bloodwork and ultrasounds during your cycle. I haven't taken it but I know it requires a lot of monitoring. Some of the other ladies on this forum I'm sure know what all is needed.
