Does anyone have a recipe for scallion pancakes? Preferably Korean style. I tried the Ming Tsai one from the food network but couldn't get the right consistency.
And... I'll toss in a quote from the 5 year old to his 2 year old brother "Lucas, I am not a toy!!"
Hmmm, H is Korean and his grandmother made amazing scallion pancakes. I'll see if he or his mom has a recipe. I would also prob just look at HMart though.

I know I know. I was complaining to my friend on the phone while I was making them and she reminded me that Reliable Market is a block away. Well, her exact words were "Buy a mix. Aren't you like next door to a Korean market?"
We really like Koreana near Central Sq in Cambridge. They do Korean BBQ and make really good bulgogi with all the yummy side dishes. They used to be reasonably priced but have gotten pretty expensive in recent years. So now we just buy the sides from HMart and H makes the beef himself. Yum!
H and his parents also really likes the food court at HMart for traditional soups. The restaurant all the way on the left if you are facing the food court is the best. I forget the name, but we always get takeout from there when his parents come over. I got their seafood miso soup last time and it was really good!
Oh, that sucks RNV! Yeah, we haven't been there in a few years. That's too bad! Was it bad food or service or both? I know last time we went we felt like they were rushing us, which sucks given ow pricey it has gotten.
