I'm not sure what I'm looking for here except to vent. Last month I started taking B6 for a short LP (9 days on average) and it was awesome, I O'ed early, lengthened my cycle a few days, and ended up with about a 14 day LP, but obviously no pregnancy. This month everything has been totally weird. Random 2 day temp spike on 14 and 15, then a 3 day drop with a +OPK on 16, then crosshairs on 18 and now pretty significant spotting yesterday (20) and today with a pretty big temp rise today. Spotting is way too early to be IB.
I'm so frustrated. This was month 6 and the deadline I had set for myself to start getting some testing done. For the last 5 months I felt like at least things looked normal and made sense, and now I've got this mess to try to explain when I do go to the doctor. I also am afraid the B6 screwed with things too much and I'm regretting it.
I'm sorry. The stress may be a factor in the weird cycles. Even if your chart is crazy, can you try for EOD BD? The past 5 months will probably be enough for the doctor to make some kind of analysis. Good luck!

That's the one thing we do have going for us this month, there's been BDing (I feel weird using that abbreviation as a verb!) all over the place - timing-wise, not geographically, lol. So if I did in fact O at some point, there's a good chance I caught it at least once in the window. Really it's this random spotting that's especially weirding me out and making me worry that something is wrong.

Awick that IS a big Jack Russell! He's only about 5 pounds lighter than my spaniel/lab mix. It's always kind of a guessing game with a rescue, isn't it? The vet said ours would only be 50 pounds but we had a feeling he was going to get bigger than that, and sure enough. The woman who adopted his mom said that their vet believes them to be part Newfie, so I guess it's good they topped out at this size instead of getting enormous.
It looks like you just Oed late. Your temp rise looks like mine (chart in sig). I would try and temp throughout your cycle and chart cm too. How bad is the spotting? May just be some mid cycle spotting which can be normal. I agree it's probably not IB.

Some people have ovulation spotting. I wonder if you have two more days of the much higher temp if FF will change your crosshairs again. (you test it out by putting dummy temps in for tomorrow and thursday).

Nope it stayed at 18 when I tried that. Day 18 is right in the ballpark of normal for me, so that part does make sense. There were no anomolies that should have led to that early temp rise, so maybe I just had a virus or something?
In my obsessive googling I did see that just because someone has never had ovulation spotting doesn't mean she never will, so that's sort of comforting. I always spot for 2-3 days before AF so I'm worried that AF is starting crazy early.

If it didn't change it with a few more temps, I bet its right. I've found FF to be pretty dead on (I've only had one cycle I questioned about of the like 25 I've recorded).
Try not to worry over the individual temps - its the pattern of temps over the course of the entire cycle that is important.
Have you had sex in the last day or two that could have caused the spotting?
The day before it started (about a full 24 hours). Usually I don't spot after unless I'm about to start my period anyway, but anything's possible.
I really appreciate all of you who are doing detective work with me. I try so hard not to go over and over this stuff with H (we do talk about it and he's great, but I don't want TTC to end up being our main topic of conversation at home) so it helps a lot to be able to talk about it here.
