Spent: Another not so awesome week for us. DS needed new shoes so I got him two pairs and that was $70. Then we bought groceries ($100) and I bought DS' one year pictures ($120) THEN we went ot the children's museum $30. I also spent the money for the new tires I mentioned last week so ($400) there. Oh well, there is always next month right?
Saved: Nothing new into savings. This is the end of the month so our money goes to daycare and rent. I guess we did save in that they only raised our rent 5% this year instead of 10. Yay for us. Oh and my friend bought me dinner on Sunday. So yay?
I bought running shoes last week $90 $100 on groceries $10 on beer $10 on gift for friend's child's baptism $25 on lunch two days in a row with coworkers
Spent- $29 bare naked boppy, but am getting a $10 gc with it $50 DH's Valentine present $20- Target candy, baby clothes on clearance and tums $4 to see the Space Shuttle
Saved- nothing new this week. We are doing a $20 weekend transfer to our "baby fund" that account is doing pretty well
Ran rough numbers on our taxes and it looks okay. Pretty even.
Not great overall but I feel like we have restrained more than usual. We're not eating FF but we've spent quite a bit on restaurants this month. My DD2 had her birthday party which was costly--but otherwise fairly decent on spending categories.
Well the weather forced us to stay in Friday and Saturday through lunch. Ran a couple errands, but did end up spending $70 on dinner sat night, whoops!
Sunday went to BJs, but spent less than $150, a record for us, lol.
Paid all the bills for the month and we had more than enough left for "daycare" so we're doing well with the new budget so far and making sure that added bill in August doesn't kill us.
I can see the bottom of my freezer!!! I'm super excited that we have been using the food in the freezer instead of doing full shopping trips. I am still over my grocery budget of $400 buy $20, but that is great for us. I still have $54 to spend on eating out for the month!!
No too bad- Spend- Not too bad. I pull out money every other friday to buy two weeks of food, eating out, misc. I have done grocery, target, and costco shopping for the two weeks and still have $103 left. I will have to buy a few food items and DH wants to go to dinner (something cheap) on saturday but we should come in right at or under budget. I did spend $45 on new tennis shoes but I haven't bought any in 1.5 years and I used a 30% off coupon at Kohl's so I think that was pretty good.
Save- DH's sign-on bonus was included in his paycheck on Friday. This mostly went to savings and I am glad it was there because they shorted his paycheck by 16 hours. We will get the 16 hours of pay this Friday and that should go to savings as well.

I cashed my birthday money for a NYC trip with my mom, and spent only cash while I was there. So $0. We spent $30 on an oil change and $20 on groceries this week. Plus 2 gas tank fill ups (~$90 total). Great week for us. Good month overall
We did ok I guess. Not perfect, we went out to eat twice and ordered pizza once. Spent $150 on groceries/home/pet stuff. I bought lunch too much at work because I have the envelopes in my purse, which is bad for me but I always forget it when I leave it at home. Double edged sword I guess.
This week is going to suck, H needs new work pants because he keeps busting the freaking crotch out. We've also been contemplating getting at small chest freezer because our freezer is always so full we can't keep it closed.

We did good this week. We bought groceries within our budget of $80 and went out to eat once for $30 at a basketball game. We also paid for parking for the basketball game, which was taken out of fun money. We saved a lot when we went to Macy's and used a giftcard and coupons to buy both me and DH new work shoes, and paid a total of $9.62 out of pocket. We also filled up our cars, for our usually amount of about $75 and DH got an oil change but didn't get sucked into any of the extras that he normally does so that was $35. All budgeted expenses and we did fairly well this month, I think we hit all our savings goals and then some, but we had a few random income amounts, but I think all went to savings.
We did ok. We finally got caught up on caught up after a $700 car repair and a teeny tiny check. I put $200 in savings and we stuck to our grocery budget. We also finally got around to calling about refinancing our house. We got a stack of paperwork to go over this weekend.
This week is already not going well. We already ate out once, so we will need to be careful about eating out this weekend. Also, I opened a new credit card for H's christmas gift, because I didn't want him to see the charge on our main card and they offered 0% interest for 2 years. No big deal, I plan on paying it over the next few months. It has been a little over a month since I bought the gift and realized that I haven't received any info or a bill. I was able to find the account number and logged in online, only to find out that the first payment was due last week. Ugh. I called and they removed the late charge, but this reminds me why I freaking hate having credit card debt. So, I had to send in a payment that I was not expecting.
I'm not an official member of the spending freeze, but DH and I are definitely working to reduce unnecessary spending. Our grocery bill is our current target: there's a lot of stuff in there that needs to be "turned over" due to expiration and randomness. We're crafting meals out of what's in there. We probably have another 3ish weeks to go. It's definitely let us hold off from doing some grocery shopping and eating out!
Ugh! We suck. The problem is, we go grocery shopping, then end up going out for a bunch of meals, and not only do we not end up eating what was bought, but we end up eating bad food and then I come home feeling too full to go to the gym, thus making that another expense that is going to waste Also, when we don't pull cash out we spend a ton more on debit, and make a mess of the account when it comes time to balance it and pay bills. I vow not to buy another meal the rest of the week. Until Sunday brunch, but that's the start of a new week, right?

We've done very well, even though we've been in and out of the doctor's office, pharmacy & eye doctor this entire month. My only splurge was spending $60 on a bunch of smocked clothing for the kids from my neighbor who went out of business (was charging $30-50 per item before). It looks like we'll be able to tuck away at least $700 this month.
