My dog was snoozing away on the couch, woke up out of a deep sleep and was sniffing a sock on the floor. Crawling over that sock was a spider, almost like a daddy long legger (legs?leg?creepyuglymofo) but it's body was rounder and it was a reddish color. Either way, I squished it with the sock, which was gross because you hear it dying, and threw the sock/spider out.
These pets are awesome! The cats and dog are on spiders before I ever even know they are there. If I see one of them jump down quick or spend a lot of time in one area, I know I need to grab some sort of bug smasher and fast.
I gave her lots of head pats and now she's here licking a couch pillow until it is sopping wet. Oh well.
Whenever rigby eats a bug (which is very often, unfortunately/fortunately) I give him the biggest hugs for helping me to avoid going anywhere near them. lol
Our dog only eats stink bugs, I don't let spiders live long enough for her to eat them.
Ninja, our cat, eats up spiders and flies before I ever get to them. But a few months ago we had a spider in our house about the size of a trap door spider and Ninja just could NOT get his mouth around that spider. He tried and tried but the spider was too big. That one got impaled with a carpet tack strip left over from remodeling.

Oh my gosh, yes the stink bugs! What the hell is it about them? He loves them. Like a protein snack or something haha

I think stink bugs smell like formaldehyde so our dog smells like death for a bit after she eats them.
Whenever someone tells me "oh there is NO killer for stink bugs" I'm like "uh yah there is..she's about 50lbs and gives stink bug breath kisses"

Ugh my dog will not eat the stink bugs but he will put them in his mouth, realize they are gross, and spit them out. Then he has the nasty stink bug breath and I have a wet pissed off stink bug to get rid of.

wut? you could hear it die? like, it screamed? (huh) lol
we got a puppy when i was in high school and i trained her to kill spiders. but not through any real skillful training, i just flipped the fuck out when i saw them, and she reacted by smacking them repeatedly with her paw until they stopped moving. then she would leave it because i would yell at her if she tried to eat it. lol

No, I could hear its body pop. It was gross, I was trying to lessen the gross factor.
@stellasmom I threw the sock away because it had holes in it and it was one the dog would carry around and chew on. I don't make a habit of just tossing random socks, lol.
