We're about to shell out a lot of money for a Tempur-Pedic mattress. Should I be looking at Costco's comparable memory foam mattresses? Can anyone attest to the quality of Costco v. Tempur-Pedic? H is super picky about mattresses and thinks that Costco will just be a crappy knockoff but I think we should go check them out.
We had a down payment on a tempurpedic and bought the Novaform on Saturday. We love it. Like pp said, Costco will take it back if you aren't happy, so we are trying it out on the chance we save $1400.
So gar so good, but ours is very firm. We got the Novaform with gel. If you like firm memory foam, its a good mattress.

We have friends who've had a Novaform for years who swear by it (they have a Tempur-Pedic in their family vacation home). So far we've been very happy with the NovaForm with gel that we bought DD & will probably be replacing our Sleep Number with one... we figured if we hated it, we could take it back to Costco.
