I finished C25K in the Spring of 2007 and ran my first half in the Spring of 2009.
That doesn't mean you couldn't do it sooner, but I just didn't have the desire to run one right away. I ran 3-4 miles 3-4 times a week for about a year before even thinking about doing a half. Then I decided to do a couple of 5 mile races. After doing two of those, then I decided I was ready to start training for a half. I started training in Jan. 09 and ran my half at the beginning of May.
I graduated from C25K first week of May 2011, took off a couple of months (Achilles), started midway through the program and did a 2nd 5k in Sept (then broke my foot), restarted midway through the program at end of Dec. and transitioned straight into half training beginning of March 2012. Half training started with 4 weeks of just doing 2&3 mile runs so it wasn't a shock to my system and I completed my first half this May (exactly 1 year after graduating C25K the first time).
I had a bumpy road but I still did it 1 year later.
I finished the C25K in mid-October 2011 and completed my half marathon in mid-March 2012. I did a 10K in between those times. It worked out well. But I had done the C25K a few times in the past, so it wasn't the first time I had run 3 miles.

I don't know if it counts because I haven't actually done it yet but I started C25k in October 2011 and have registered for my first half marathon in October 2012.
I did a modified version of c25k last spring. Started May 2011 and was running 5k distance by mid June 2011. I ran a 4mile race in July then slowly built mileage and ran a 10k in October. I kept up my a 4-5 mile run base through winter (only running outside, which can be tricky wehre I live) and then started training end onf March of this year for my first half. I was up to running 6miles comfortably before I started an 8wk program and ran my first HM on May 18 of this year. That was just over 1 year after I started c25k.
