I'm not girly like most of you are... I don't ever wear makeup, I have one purse. I don't /need/ anything, and I can't think of anything I want. So, what are you guys getting/hoping to get for V-Day?
In all seriousness, we dont celebrate V day. I will probably tell him to save money that day. Knowing him, he will still get me something though. But yeah, chocolate=the way to my heart. (heart)
DH will be playing at the Airforce base again this year..so maybe a phone call!! We don't celebrate it (have never been together on the day. I should say every day is valentines day here!
Maybe nothing. I hadn't thought that far ahead. We might just save our celebrating for when I can walk without pain... that'll probably be March at the earliest. Stupid sprained foot ruins everything.

This is our first Valentine's Day together. He's been deployed for two, and lived in different places for the others. I got him a leather wallet (he still has his from 10 years ago, and it's time to go.)

We don't do V-day, but I didn't realize it was the type of holiday where people asked for certain gifts. I might insist on doing V-day if that's the case.
He usually sends me flowers at work, which I have mixed feelings about because they are soooo expensive but it is a nice sweet gesture.
I really don't want anything else anyway. Unless maybe more money in savings or a paid off CC. lol. We're on a major cutback right now so blowing money on "stuff" is basically the last thing that will help my sanity.

I'm always in for any excuse for chocolate and flowers. But I'm super MM and ask for the $7 flowers from Trader Joe's. I think buying overpriced roses just because it's Vday is ridiculous. He's also taking me out to a "surprise" restaurant, but that's really a gift for him because his favorite thing is eating out.
I love presents and any reason to get and give them I'm getting DH some pj/ lounge pants and a new wallet he's been wanting. I keep a running amazon list of things I think of that I want and he usually just picks me something from that
