I'm running a local 5k that is to benefit a running program for young girls. I wasn't thrilled with my performance at my last race so I'm hoping to redeem myself a bit with this one.
I am running the vermont covered bridge half this weekend. It is supposed to be in the 50s (yay) and raining (boo). I can handle cool weather (preferred) and I can handle rain. But I do not like them together, for 2 hours.
San Diego RnR this weekend! I am really hoping to see if I can PR this one (not likely but it would be nice!!)
I'll cheer for you when you run past my house because you'll totally know who I am. But really, I'll be cheering for a few runners from work, so in my head I'll cheer for you too.
I'm running Lincoln Park Zoo's 10K. I didn't get much running in this week since I did the Soldier Field 10-miler last Saturday and it burned me out but I'm hoping I beat a time I had 2 years ago in this same race.

I'm running an 8k tomorrow morning. I've been really slack lately so I'm hoping this is a good turn-around for me. Last weekend I had an awesome and relaxing 7 mile run at the beach which I thought would do the trick. But, I've only made it to the gym twice since then. Usually races really pep me up!

i have a lot of friends running this, i hope it turns out to be a great day for everyone.
Good luck racers! I wish I was racing but it's my DH's week to shine (CFA exam, number 3). But run extra fast for me!!
Good luck to him! That is an intense test...DH took and passed all 3 and I don't wish that amount of studying on anyone. One of my friends is taking level 2 this weekend too.
Good luck to the racers too! I'm out until July 4th, and hopefully I'll be ready by then (been sidelined for a couple weeks with tendonitis/bursitis).
Saturday is going to be my first 5k since H.S. Cross Country. I haven't done much running training but I figure any time will be an adult P.R. and will give me a goal to beat. I am hoping to finish in 25-26.5mins but really will be happy with anything!

I'm racing! I'm doing an evening 5k called the starlight run. I didn't do well at all last year so I'm hoping I can prove to myself how much better of shape I am in this year, I'm almost 40lbs lighter!
I'm not racing but I'll be cheering for my DH, who is doing an obstacle course 5K on Sunday morning. I have no desire to participate so I'm just going to spectate.
