DH and I are looking at the budget and trying to cut some things here and there. We're researching the option to refinance our house. We're currently with Wells Fargo and he already got quotes from them, but I wanted to look at a few other places. Anyone want to recommend who they went with recently to refinance?

I did a streamline refi with WF and closed the weekend before xmas. 3k to close 3.25% and closed in less than 30 days. It was amazing!!!
I started by using the link on the side of the page when you log in to pay your mortgage.
ETA: I was told it was 90 days to close but it took a hell of a lot less. I can give you the name of the WF loan guy who did mine but he may only be licensed in TX.
If you have any memberships (Costco, Sams or professional associations) check with them and see if they have any relationships. We did ours with Vanguard and our Costco executive membership saved us some fees.

This infuriates me! It took 4 months to do a streamline with them (started in August, closed end of Dec). Oh, they sent us an Omaha Steak package to make up for it. Yeah, that $100 worth of beef sure was better than the $1500 I would have saved had you closed my loan in 30 days!

The first refinance, I got WF to match my best quote from someplace else. I like WF because they service their own loans, and have the no-charge biweekly payment with autodebit. But, they couldn't match terms for my second refinance, and the company I got sold to is fine, so no biggie.
The second time I got quotes through bankrate. The best was a relatively new local place, but my coworker had just refinanced with them and it went smoothly, so I took the risk. It was fine.

Well to make you madder it was actually $28xx to close and we have special situations that caused a delay (documents that had to notarized internationally). You really should cause a ruckus and demand something else from them. We WF was our original lender and the lender in the refi if it makes a difference. We are also FHA.

It doesn't make a difference b/c they were our original lendor and we did FHA too! No appraisal, nothing. They emailed me every week saying "we have everything, just have hundreds of people ahead of you". Never any issues. This is some bullshit. I did complain, hence the steaks. Not sure who I could complain to now, seeing as they don't put any people/addresses of the higher ups on their website.

Have you tried walking into the actual bank and making a complaint? Turns out my loan officer works various banks in the region and I could actually meet him face to face. Maybe that is what helped. I demanded to meet him even before we started any paperwork. Maybe you can meet yours and see if you can get some sort of resolution.
