Probably Love Actually, right before Christmas. We do that every year.
In the past year, though, we randomly stumbled on both My Cousin Vinny and A Few Good Men, both of which we hadn't seen in years. They both hold up really well, and I was quoting MCV for *days*
Not very old, but MH pulled up "Lars and the Real Girl" on Netflix last week and I enjoyed it.
Movies I'll always watch if I stumble across them on TV: Apollo 13 The Sound of Music Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles The American President Forrest Gump The Goonies The Incredibles Back to the Future Coming to America Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Big Daddy

The Big Lebowski and Dazed and Confused are my standard go-to's for when I just feel like throwing a DVD in.
ETA: Oh, Royal Tenenbaums...I never get tired of that movie.
I was thinking you meant like classic movies...and I've really never seen most of the old old movies that are considered to be 'classics'...though, living in NOLA, I probably should make it a point to watch A Streetcar Named Desire.
I watched American Graffitti last weekend. I had nver seen it before. I think I've been ruined by too many crime shows / movies. I kept waiting for someone to die or something really bad to happen.
I was fun to see so many of those actors so young.
Is High School Musical and Mission Impossible old enough? lol Before that I did watch Chitty chitty bang bang with the kids. One of my favorite older movies is Anne of Green Gables.
The Way We Were - I'd never seen it before. I thought it was pretty good, but didn't really get the chemistry between Robert Redford and Barbara Streisand.
A more recent one is The Green Mile - that and Shawshank Redemption H and I can never not watch if we find it on TV. Those are two great movies.

After the movie Dark Shadows came out DH and I got the TV show that it was based on from netflix. I think we have watched about two years of a 1960's gothic soap opera, it is so campy but we can't stop watching it!
