I grew up in a house with a ceramic tile floor, so everything that slipped off the counter or out of your hand got smashed to bits. I got really GOOD at catching things in mid-air. It's mostly stayed with me.
It's a little funny to watch my instincts kick-in to save a hard plastic cup with the moves from the Matrix.

I have clumsy days where I continuously drop nearly everything in my hands or something but those aren't very frequent.
I am nowhere near as clumsy as my brother, who recently put a hole in my bathroom wall while falling, and previously lit part of my friend's backyard on fire after starting a firecracker. (and that's just 2 stories, I have a slew of them, some resulting in personal injury). He's not even stoned like I am most of the time, so I have no idea what his excuse is. I'm glad I didn't get as many clumsy bones as he did.
I am extremely clumsy. I walk into the corners of things (tables, walls, etc) all the time, I drop things, I trip over my own feet, I hit my head on things...I think I must have a problem paying attention. But I am also completely uncoordinated as far as anything athletic and have no sense of balance, so it's a great combination.
Definitely a good thing you had a change of clothes with you!
As for me, I don't think I am particularly clumsy, but my husband would disagree. Random stuff happens a lot to and around me. (I've had four sets of stitches, broke my arm in four places while sitting in Spanish class, burned my arm on a hot iron, etc., etc., etc.,)
I kind of feel like it is more just general wear and tear, but I bruise really easily, so it is more noticeable, if that makes sense.
I'm always tripping over stuff and constantly have leg bruises. I think I bruise easily, because sometimes I'll lightly bump into a desk drawer at work and then come home to find a softball sized bruise on my hip or thigh.

I am pretty clumbsy. I have never broken bones or anything, but I slip often and have sprained both my ankles. I have sprained my right one multiple times, and I can no longer wear heals. I even twisted my ankle on my wedding day. I didn't fall or sprain it, but it was sore for the remainder of the day.

I'm relatively coordinated at some things, but then I will sometimes just misjudge things and walk into tables and doorjambs. I also bruise easily and am very pale, so it doesn't take anything too serious for a big bruise to show up. Ian will be all like, "What happened? How did you get that bruise?" I'll just shrug and say I probably walked into something.

I am so clumsy that I frequently wipe out on the stairs. I cant even count the number of times I've fallen down the whole case of stairs at both my house and my moms.
I am overall pretty clumsy in everything and there are days when I get in the shower and constantly knock stuff over or drop stuff and I just know that's going to be a bad day. I swear my equilibrium is way off.

This is so like me! I often misjudge doorways and clonk my hip. I too am fair & bruise easily. I think people thought I was abused as a teen because speed coupled with my clumsiness left me all marked-up.
