I think I may have a problem? I have low blood pressure and get dehydrated very quickly so I am always drinking water. DH and I were talking about it yesterday and I calculated just how much.... yeah it's over 1.5 gallons a day. Can you drink too much water?
No wonder I am up going to the bathroom every night!
ETA - I just looked it up, it looks like the kidneys can handle up to almost 4 gallons of water over the course of the day.
Might be worth talking to your doc about just in case they want to screen for any underlying metabolic issues or if s/he has any other suggestions like adding electrolytes (Brawndo!) to your water intake.

Haha the only way I know is because I have a 750ml water bottle at my desk that I fill up about 7-8 times a day. And then I just add in a glass or two of water in the evening when I'm home.
I have a 20oz water bottle I fill up at least 3 times a day at work. I also drink a lot of hot tea. I've become hooked on it. So I drink a lot. I do notice when I don't drink enough my face breaks out.

I don't drink as much water as I should, I know that... During the warmer months its easier. During the winter I am more of a coffee & hot tea drinker.
I'll bet drinking more water would probably help with my skin issues though... I might have to dust off my water bottle.
The amount of water that people drink seriously boggles my mind. I get in - on a good day - 32 oz. My kidneys and bladder can't handle more and I still get up 3-4 times a night.
Okay, I actually measured how much water our glasses hold and tried to estimate how much I drink a day. (maybe I need a hobby or something?) I'm estimating I drink around 60-80 ounces of water a day, not counting non-water beverages.
I need to drink more. I try throughout the day, and then end up catching up in the evening and afternoon. I need to get out my trusty old water bottle again.
DL - you should drink coconut water. Electrolyte overload, I like the pineapple flavor. I try to keep them on hand and have one every other day or so. They aren't cheap, but for now its worth it to me bc of the breastfeeding.
DL, I thought the same thing when I tried coconut water! I guess I expected it to be sweet like coconuts, and the flavor was just odd. But now I do kinda want to try flavored coconut water, too.
