I once thought those preparing for a zombie apocalypse were in they craycray camp, but they might be onto something with the recent cannibalistic stories that are breaking the news. Even if bath salts or hard drugs turn out to be the source of this madness, if the victims were thoroughly prepped for zombie attacks then they might have been able to avoid the situation, right?
I have taken a self defense class that prepared me for muggers or possible kidnapping attempts, but I think I need more training for crazies like these folks. Whoa!
First off what makes someone want to eat another human being. I can't imagine we are very tasty. We all know how badly burnt hair or flesh smells. I can't imagine it being any better in raw form.
My ex-h is a police officer and he said it's unbelievable what the bath salts are doing to people. He said it is super scary for the officers who encounter this because of the madness and incredible strength this high gives to people. He's in city now where the officers ride alone and often have to wait for back-up (if they even have any available at the time). He's 6'3" --weighs 240lbs and he had a young man pick him up and throw him across the room. Fucking crazy shit!
Last night the baby-faced weirdo was placed on the FBI and Interpol “Most Wanted” lists — as police discovered a grisly video thought to be live footage of the murder.
The ten-minute film shows the victim being stabbed in a frenzy with an ICE-PICK, before being dismembered, sexually abused and his flesh EATEN with a knife and fork. “Once you kill, and taste blood, it’s impossible to stop."

H and I were discussing the Miami incident yesterday and we decided that if we heard of another crazy cannibalistic event, we would start to stock up on ammo...I think it's time.
yeah, the miami one scares me, I live in FL. But, we have a zombie plan, my husband has been preparing for the zombie apocalypse for a couple years now.

This sucks, I'm behind in my apocalypse studies. Like i don't know what the F to do besides barricade myself and eat canned goods. For some reason the crackheads seem less scary to me.

For the record, I also have a plan for the zombie apocalypse...
But really, this is scary shit. It's one thing to hear stories where people get high and get in a fight, or even kill someone in a "normal" way but... to EAT SOMEONE? I've been so far gone that I "saw" my hands fall off, and monsters and... I was still so not inclined to eat anyone's brain. Wtf.
Sadly, it doesn't seem like drugs are getting more tame, or people are getting more sane, so I'm sure there will be plenty more of these crazy ass stories.

What really slays me is that some of these freak stories where they are getting bath salts, available in any drugstore or Walmart. We watched an Intervention recently about the bath salts and it is just mind-boggling how easy it is to get these things and how fast the mind deteriorates from chronic use.

In my neck of the woods they are becoming more and more available at quicky marts and gas stations.

There are a few legal drugs that are no bueno... Do you know what K-2/Spice/Potpourri is? That alone is the reason why my 3.5 year relationship ended. I'm taking care of my 5 pets, in a 3 bedroom house I'm having to solely cover because my ex just stopped coming home, stopped going to work, disappeared off the face of the earth to get high. Treatment centers in my neck of the woods are saying it's like treating a crysal meth addiction, despite it being marketed as "synthetic marijuana", and people withdrawal and fiend for it like a hardcore drug. It's frustrating how accessible this shit is.
On the bright side, I suppose Spice makes you abandon your family, but doesn't make you eat faces? Haha...

lexx Im sorry about that but sounds like he's smoking more then spice
It does, doesn't it? Yet I'm 115% sure that's the only substance he was using besides alcohol (At least then. Now? No idea). I assure you after searching his truck/bank accounts/pockets, living with him for months while he was using it openly that it's solely spice that screwed him up so bad. Pitiful. Some people don't take to a certain substance too well I suppose.
Back to the zombie thing though, did anyone else hear about the "zombie ants"? I'm going to have the find the article, because it was really creepy. It starts with ants, then who knows!
