About a week ago (day 9), I forgot my temp, so I turned on the thermometer to see the stored temp and added it to my chart. There was a huge spike and it said I ovulated, which seemed super weird since it was so early in the month, given the length of my cycle.
I wanted to double-check today's temp so I turned on the thermometer and saw: 98.6. The same temp as day 9. Stupid me did not realize until today that this thermometer does NOT store temps, and it always says 98.6 to calibrate the thermometer when you turn it on.
Hehe, no worries. If temping has taught me anything, it's stupid to baseline human temps at 98.6 I'm rarely at that temperature. So many sick days I could have taken as a child....
