You'll all be pleased to know that our conversations here are fodder for Arbor's twitter feed and we're all a bunch of fucking idiots who don't know shit.
ETA: I'll just go out on a limb and assume that since she's defriending and blocking GBCNers she's also trashing us on FB too. Not cool, arbor. Not cool.
I don't understand? Are we not allowed to disagree?
I thought so, too. I know the discussion got a little out of hand and a little snarky (on both sides), but I don't think anyone felt it necessary to go outside of the board and blast everyone for fucking idiots or whatever.

Maybe I'm just odd but I don't feel comfortable taking nest shit out of the nest. Between boards, maybe but never to people who aren't involved in the board in anyway and certainly not to a public forum where people might be encouraged to stop by, kwim?
I also don't like being painted as the worst of humanity and an enemy of "the cause" for having a discussion on a message board.
arbor, if you're reading this, I think it's total bullshit that you wouldn't respond to Lola on here, but instead mischaracterized what she said and are now trying to start another war with the group she posted about.
I'm still friends with her on FB but it appears she has out me on limited profile.
I know everything is public, but I don't like that if people don't agree with her they must be wrong and are fodder for her twitter.
I am here as well. I know this is a public board, but this is a bit unnerving. I am also unnerved that many helped her friend out that was in need, donated money through paypal, and personal info was attached and she has this. I am really unnerved (no, I am fucking pissed now. I am not sorry I helped a person in need, but this is some bullshit that she is spouting off). I am thankful it is just general, but who knows.

I'm kinda here. There is the CEP FB page, but that seems different... I don't know.

Same here. More than anything, I feel like putting board stuff on FB makes people look like losers.

Fuck, I didn't even think of that. Nice. I don't regret helping someone in need either, but it sucks that I gave my info to someone I thought wasn't shady.

It's different because it involves people here. I don't think there's anyone on the FB group who isn't here. We don't let people in for shits and giggles. If you're apart of the community, then discussing it is fine wherever, I think. It's when you pretty much make inflammatory statements in a place where people who aren't involved can get indignant with you that it becomes a problem.
Because it's pretty much one step away from providing them with a link, especially as it isn't for anyone's amusement but in furtherance of advocacy work that you've made no bones about wanting to be as public and antagonistic as possible.

For those who aren't tweeters (twitterers? Twits?) she hasn't posted a link to here or named us anything. Just a vaugebookish headdesk vent about how people who have only watched a HBO documentary aren't entitled to an opinion on the topic. Similar to what was posted on FB previously. Not sure if that soothes anybody's concerns, but I figured I'd share anyway.

WHAT?
I could be reading it wrong but it seems to me she's trying to start something with the woman involved in work highlighted by the documentary Lola referenced last night, Very Young Girls.

You are right. But her inflammatory tone coupled with the way her twitter battles follow, idk, it's a little too much for my tastes, kwim?
