This is my 2nd cycle using FF. Just curious when everyone else usually sees a the temp shift meaning they ovulate. Is it typically the same month to month or could it be different all the time?
It depends. I stopped taking the pill, so it took a few cycles to adjust. For the last two cycles, the shift happened on day 20 or 21. Even then, you need to temp several days after the first temperature shift to see if you really did o (as opposed to having a one day wonky temperature). I have a longish cycle at 34 days, so mine is probably a little later than most people. Charting takes time to make any sense of the data though. Temp and wait a few cycles to see what happens.

I typically ovulate between CD11 and CD14, and one month I ovulated on CD17. This month seems to still be up in the air. I think I have a bit of a slow rise pattern though, so it takes FF 4-5 days after I ovulate to give me crosshairs.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
It can take a while to regulate. Eventually it should become pretty close, but it'll never be clockwork. My cycle is extremely regular, where in general every 3 or 4 cycles it's a day early and the month after it's a day late, but in between and on average it's always CD13. That said last cycle I suddenly O'd on CD16, definitely not normal for me, but I'd traveled and there was New Years and stuff, so the change didn't surprise me that much. We just kept having sex until I saw the temp shift.
But from what I've heard and read it can take a year to regulate, no proble (depending on how regular you was before BCP and how long you were on it.)
