Do the teenagers in your area have a "uniform?" I was just looking at some photos of local girls on the FB page for DD's dance school and they are ALL wearing North Face fleece, Champion sweatpants, Uggs. The designated hairstyle is a ponytail or headband.

Hmmm... that sounds about right. I have boys so I dont know much about the girl side of the road but our uniform is jeans or sweatpants, beatz big headphones, north face, nike or undersarmour outerwear and the more colorful and obnoxious athletic shoes the better....or worse, in my opinion
when my kids come to practice (i coach) they are in leggings, under armor v-necks, and hair in high ponytail bun things. it's so funny. last year they would all show up in nike running shorts in crazy colors.
Skinny jeans, Uggs or regular knee high boots, flannel shirts or bright colored button down shirts. Peacoats or woven jackets.
I don't think I've seen teenagers in anything as casual as sweatpants or Northface in public. Even if they are wearing Uggs the rest of their clothes aren't that casual.

Right now its skinny jeans, lace up boots only laced halfway (like Doc Martens but not as clunky) and plaid flannel button downs. But it's about to get warm, we'll see if the nike running shorts make a reappearance since they were big last summer.

I see the girls in my school wearing leggings as pants with big sweatshirts and Uggs/knockoffs. Or skinny jeans with one of those boxy, cropped shirts that seem to be popular right now. Hair either in a top knot or down and straight. All the girls have really long hair right now too. Apparently short hair isn't in.
I am So glad that girls around here wear normal clothing. Sure they have the knee high boots, but you'd be hard pressed to find any of them wearing UGGs. Most of them grew up on farms, live on a farm, or married a farmer (obviously 18+) so they tend to dress pretty practical.
Now in my home town, ooooooh boy. UGGs, those leggings that are pretty much see through with short t shirts (I can handle the long tunic length shirts, but normal or short shirts; no). Boxy shirts or barely there shirts, jeans so tight they look like they were painted on. Words on their butt and boobs. I really have to wonder why parents let their children out of the house like this. The guys wear baggy pants half way down their ass, giant sneakers that aren't tied, over sized everything - t shirts, hoodies, jackets.
The guys look like they are drowning in their clothing and the girls could use some baggyness.
