I was born blonde. I have always been blonde. The color got more ashy as I got older, but still blonde (enhanced w/ some highlights). I'm now brown/red.
When I went to my hair guy and told him I was ready to go darker, like red/brown, his eyes just lit up with excitement. He said he never gets to take blondes darker, so he started telling me about what he had in mind with toner, foil, pulling stuff through, blah blah blah. I was like "yeah. I don't know what you just said. But I know you'll do a good job, so, um, do your thing."
I swear, if I wasn't married, and he wasn't gay, I would totally marry him. If he ever leaves this place and I can't go to his new place, I will be sad. very, very very sad.
If he ever leaves this place and I can't go to his new place, I will be sad. very, very very sad.
That color looks really great on you! I'm very particular when it comes to hair stylists. Mine moved about a year ago, I was the first person she told because she knew I'd be heartbroken. And then I decided to grow my hair out because I anticipate it will take me a while to find someone I like as much. I'm still looking!
I was the same as you...born and grew up blonde, but then it got darker. I gave up the blonde a few years ago and have been on the "dark side" ever since.
