Since the unwelcome visit of a mouse to our pantry a few days ago, I've been on a mission, involving several trips to the Container Store, BB&B and Target. Here are the results. Mouse-proof pantry! We've caught 2 so far. Little bastards.
btw, I have no idea if this will work because I haven't attempted to upload pics on the new version and I don't see a preview option. Walla!
What is on the shelf right above the canned soups? Riceroni type stuff? The nice will get in those for sure.
Yeah, you have to box those up. They chew right through cardboard. Cereal too, if you haven't boxed that.
If you can find some metal tins, those are cute.
The cereal is all in containers, now (it's on the third shelf, there, all nicely lined up). I knew I had to put the oatmeal in plastic, but didn't think about the sealed stuff in those cardboard boxes. And I'm always up for another trip to the Container Store. There are so many solutions there to problems I didn't know I had!
What you can't see here is that I cut out the name of each cereal and put it on top with clear tape and cut out the nutrition info and put it on the back, just in case we have guests who need to know this stuff. I am a woman obsessed.
Nice work! We had mice a few months back and they turned me into a crazy lady! I admit I did no where near as good of a job organizing my pantry as you did- very impressive.
Ps- we ended up calling an exterminatior to get rid of them.
