I love everything. Cliche and cheesy, but I really do. I have a this chubby little thing that is half me and half H, and it's just so much fun. She is at a fun stage right now, so it makes me forget all of the hard stuff.
How old is she now? For me, 6 months to 1 year is the best stage.
Do you want to have another, or am I being obnoxious for asking so soon after the birth of your DD?
I think I remember you are from the Chicago area, which is where I used to live. What do you like best about it?
She just turned 5 months yesterday! She laughs a lot and smiles a lot and loves to eat her feet and she's just so funny.
I have been thinking lately that I do want another. I don't know if it's because DD has been sttn lately or because of the fun stuff she's doing now, but all of a sudden, I'm like "babies!" and want another one. Not for a few years, though!
I live in South Carolina, and have actually never been to Chicago. DH and I want that to be our next big vacation.
I've never been to South Carolina. What are the best places to visit? Where would you bring LOs?
Charleston, of course! I live in the Upstate, and it is a nice place to raise a family. There are mountains and rivers and lots of things to do. But, Charleston is beautiful - full of culture, history, and coast line. We actually have several nice beaches and islands here. I get sad when I see posters here talking about Myrtle Beach, but that's the one we are most known for. Myrtle is ok I guess, but way too commercialized for me, full of rednecks and just gross (sorry to you MB lovers!). Edisto Beach is my favorite and my family has had a vacation home there for 14 years, Isle of Palms is lovely, Fripp Island, Hunting Island, Hilton Head, etc.
Yeahno. She's your mini me. No question about it. Sorry, Mr Poppy.
What do you do for work?
Where's the coolest place you have ever been on vacation?
What kind of car do you drive?
You get to travel back to another era for your early twenties. Which one and why
I work in HR for a company that provides medical equipment to hospice patients.
I have been lots of places, but the coolest would probably be London and Aspen, CO. I went to London at 15 and I was too young to appreciate it so I'd love to go back. I went to Aspen when I was 20 with a family I nannied for in college. I loved it so much, it's such a neat place. We were there for the food and wine festival, so there were lots of fun things going on. I want to go back really bad.
I drive a 2010 Acura TSX. Love it!
I would love to have experienced my 20s in the 40s and 50s. I am very interested in how different living was back then, particularly for girls and women. Also, just general interest in the fashion, food, cars, music, etc. I'm weird!
