I am not sure if this was already a topic on here, but thought I would ask. This is my third time starting it and I just can't seem to get into it. I have heard many people say they loved the book, but some didn't like the ending. If you have read it did you like it? Was it hard to get into for a little while? Should I keep reading it?

I loved it, and found it very engaging from the start. I'm planning to read her other books as well.
A coworker of mine just finished it and she said that she found it very slow in the beginning and almost gave up on it several times, but then got to a certain point where she suddenly said "Okay NOW it's getting good!" and then she finished it and loved it.
The ending made me sad and angry, but in a good way. It made sense, and was consistent with the characters. It was a good ending from a literary perspective, but a hard one from an emotional perspective.

I just finished Dark Places, and just downloaded Sharp Objects from the library. I loved the Gone Girl, read it in 2 days. I normally devour books though so that's not too surprising. If you're not into it after starting part 2 you likely just don't like the book.
I liked them but I read them back when they came out so it is a little fuzzy now. I liked them enough to request Gone Girl way before it came out from my library.
