I went for happy hour with some colleagues (and my boss) after work. Two or three drinks in, I'm heading home on the subway and bump into a student. I had to carry on an "adult" conversation for 10 stops. And all I wanted to blurt out was that I called one of the English teachers slutty (cuz he, um, kind of is). Totally weird and awkward. She had no idea and was very sweet about chatting.

Haha nice! I recall going to class buzzed (don't judge) but never thought what it might be like the other way around. I thought I was so cool for getting through class drunk and unnoticed.
Oh we know. I had to pull aside a kid the other day. Bloodshot eyes, pupils dilated. Told him to wash his face and get with it. This kid needs my class to graduate. I think he was totally embarrassed and kind of realized it might be not the smartest idea to come to class like that.
