Nothing really. I work tomorrow and H works tomorrow and Sunday so that kind of zaps any plans. Which is OK. I'm still feeling crappy. But next weekend we are celebrating my birthday so it will make up for this boring weekend. :-)
I am going to ikea tomorrow! There is also a possibility that we are going to go out to eat and see Warm Bodies. I haven't seen a movie in theater in a long time.
This weekend - a couple little parties. Probably not much fun, but obligatory.
TTC - I have my HSG in an hour. I'm nervous, but I found some Vicodin, so I'm feeling a little better about that. We also got my husband's SA results back, and most of the numbers are low (which we expected) but his WBC is very high! Haven't talked with the dr about it yet, but it sounds like a possible infection. I'm hoping some antibiotics will clear that up, and may really help improve the count. I told my husband, I'd never thought I'd be so excited about a possible weiner infection, LOL (which he does not find funny).
We're helping my brother hooking op his tv and Wi-Fi at his new/our old place and that's all I have planned or want to plan. We've been crazy busy lately, so I want relaxation and nothing more.
Hope everyone whose feeling crappy starts to feel better.
Jewel- check in when your done! Hope it goes ok!
Hopefully much of my town doesn't flood again tonight. It probably won't, but I'm a worry wart. We'll be shoveling, cleaning, and working. I'm actually looking forward to a nice weekend at home.
DH and I are supposed to be doing a Valentines couples 5k on Sunday... I'm not sure it will go ahead with this snow. : ((
I love the idea of a check in - do you think we should do a tttc check in too? Just so we can keep up with everyone?
That might not be a bad idea. Maybe a cycle check in once a week and then just various "hey what's up?" or randoms posts throughout the week (which by the way, anyone can start!)
Do you want to take over doing the cycle check in? Whatever day is easiest for you to post it is good with me. I am generally here more on the weekdays, so that would be my only preference - a weekday, if that's what everyone else wants.
This weekend: Not a lot. DH has been out of town for work all week and he gets home tonight, so I am looking forward to that. We are going to my great-great aunts 98th birthday party on Saturday morning/afternoon. It will be nice to see all of my family. Other than that I would like to get longer bike ride in one day and a run the other. It's supposed to rain though (boo, but can I really complain when some of you are inundated with snow? haha!) so it might be a gym weekend.

Sure. I do post the ttc check in on MMM but hardly anyone posts on there anymore. I'll do one on here for us TTTC girls. I'll post it Mondays so we know what people have going on that week.
Tomorrow I'm pouring beer for a beerwalk! I'm excited about it. My brother is going to be in my booth too, and a bunch of my friends will be manning other booths.
H is going out of town Sat and I'm excited to have the bed to myself.
I'm still reading/posting here, but we are not TTC anymore. I don't know if/when we will resume.
I'm supposed to go to NYC with a friend tomorrow morning. Who knows if that's happening or not at this point! Bus is kinda still scheduled (as in, they canceled tonight's buses and other until further notice, but are selling tickets for the one I'm on tomorrow!). I'm also watching the concert venue website to see if our concert is canceled or not.
So, the businesses in a neighborhood "host" the event and there are canopy booths placed in front of the participating businesses, serving beer (or if the business is a restaurant/bar, they just have the special beers available). People buy tickets that the include beer samples, custom glass, and passport. So they walk around, getting samples from each place. When they get a beer, the pourer crosses it off the passport book. Plus first 60 to check in the day of the event receive a free tour at Gordon Biersch and a free 6 pack of GB.
There are 20 breweries participating, and there will be live music and artists will be painting and selling their stuff.
It's supposed to be sunny and 60* tomorrow, so yay!
@discogranny - I am glad you are here and keeping the board moving!
We don't have any weekend plans, other than doing a deep cleaning of the house. We are refinancing and the appraiser is coming next week.
TTC related - We had a follow up w/ the RE yesterday. He doesn't think H's numbers are as drastic as the first RE and recommended IUI to start. I am kind-of in shock because it is so different than what we were initially told. I am trying not to get my hopes up, because I know IUI doesn't have the greatest success, but I think we may give it a try. I am still waiting to hear from their financial person, but because it is so much cheaper than IVF, we already have enough saved in our IF treatment fund that we could proceed w/ this quickly. I have to repeat my blood work and than we could start the next cycle. I am excited and nervous and I don't even know.

Berbles that sounds amazing, have fun!
My weekend is going to be boring, and I'm excited about that. Got my period yesterday and I'm really not in the mood to do much except sit on my ass. One of my cats has his annual vet check up tomorrow morning, and after that I'll probably go grocery shopping. The rest of the day I just want to chill...past few weekends have been a little hectic so it'll be nice to get a break.
TTC related: DH's appointment at the urologist's office is Tuesday. He's getting an SA to get all that checked out.
Between the snowstorm and my daughetr being sick, I'll be hanging out at home all weekend. I'm supposed to be taking it easy so I'm just staying home being lazy (and trying to force myself to clean up a bit.)
Kara- that's exciting news. My daughter is a result of IUI, so sometimes it works.
Just checking in to say that it's 3:30 here, and I am yet to shave my legs. I'm actually yet to shower. I suck.
I am in the process of reorganizing my house, though, which really needed to be done so that's something.
Want to talk TTC? I'm 3DPO. Or 4. FF changed its mind this morning. That's fucking infuriating. We're on an EOD schedule right now, which is fine, but I am worried it's not enough and it should be every day except that the two days we've missed this week we missed because we are exhausted and just fell asleep.

I just got out of the bath and got dressed to go on "date night" with DH. Have you been taking opks or just charting? If you are dpo now you don't have to worry about missing some days, right? How was your timing 3/4 days ago?
Since 4dpo I have had horrible twinges in my ovaries, mainly on the right side but today on my left side. I'm sure it is cysts.... . I really hope this doesn't fuck up ivf next month.
I have never had cysts before (or ones that I felt) but after my gonal iui cycle in Dec I had 6 x 3,5cm so I'm assuming they haven't gone away or something... I hope they haven't grown.
I am using OPKs and charting. I took and OPK on CD8, but then forgot one when I went to work on CD9. Then I took one on CD10 and got a positive. Great. THEN, my temp went up the next day, and FF called O on CD9, which had me all confused. Because then why did I get my + on CD10, right?!
Anyways, then today my temp went down .2 this a.m. (which could very well be my new thermometer, but that is a whoooole different story, lol), so FF changed my O to CD10 - the same day as my + OPK.
SO CONFUSING! lol.
Either way, the only day we DIDN'T do it is CD9, which was fine when I thought I O'd that day, but now that I am thinking (ok, FF is telling me) I O'd on CD10 I am bummed that we didn't do it on CD9, you know? And then of course we skipped last night, and now I'm all, "Well maybe it's just ALL wrong and we should keep dong it!"
I swear to you, charting has made it so.much.worse in terms of the stress level! WTF.
Oh, and it's now 6:10 p.m. and I got out of the shower 5 minutes ago. But I didn't shave my legs (or anything else) when I was in there. I suck.

As long as you did it CD 8 and 10 you are covered, don't worry. I hate opks. I have a clearblue fertility monitor because the opks were driving me crazy.
I'm not an expert with the opks but with the monitor you get 2 days of peak (positives) - the first one is O day. Maybe you would have got an opk on CD 9 also then you o'd on cd 10?
By the way, you O early! Do you have short cycles? Would o'ing on cd 9 or 10 be normal? The earliest I have ever o'd is cd 13 I think.

Thanks Ice, makes me feel better to know somebody else thinks I'm covered. lol. It's pretty bad when I need somebody else to tell me this.
My H has been really trying lately. "Are you ovulating? How is our timing? What does your phone say?" Aww! lol.
My O seems to change month to month. It was CD13 last month. It was CD8 in November and had to reschedule my HSG because of it. Apparently CD9/10 this month.
Want to hear a flameful? I just keep charting & tracking & trying because I'm not sure I'm ready to hear that this plan is not going to work for me. And I never called my doc after my HSG because I'm not sure I can handle it.
