I POAS earlier, and it looked neg so I threw it away. I was just curious and took it out of the trash can and looked again. Is this a BFP??? Or do they all look BFP after a while?
Here's what happens if I saturate/contrast the crap out of it.

Looks like a blue dye test. The evap lines on them can look positive. I'd take a pink dye test tomorrow, since you can't trust this one, because you looked at it after the time you're supposed to.

I would like to get pregnant before 2014, so that I am not pregnant when I defend my proposal for my PhD. Other than that, I'm not picky. If I'm not pregnant in a few months, I'll start actively trying.
I don't test ovulation. We basically stopped trying not to get pregnant six months ago, but we're not actively trying to get pregnant.
My cycles are normally 28-30 days. How long are your cycles if you O on CD26?
irregular. anywhere from 30-40 days, this cycle has a delayed ovulation (switched to night shifts a few days prior to ovulation, which stressed out my body). I know this because I track my temps and CM to determine my fertile window and my ovulation date. see my ovulation chart in my siggy.
I agree with awick. you have to track temps to have any kind of certainty that you ovulated at all, even with regular cycles.
you say you're not actively trying to get pregnant, and your cycles are normally 28-30 days. so I wonder why you POAS on CD27, and again on CD29? you could still get AF today and your period wouldn't be late.
I'm sorry if we seem like we're questioning you, we just wonder why you would put yourself through the anxiety of a BFN when it was likely too early.

Oh. I had weird symptoms that don't usually occur with my period, and I usually have spotting by now. I don't temp because I don't remember. I keep track of CM, just cause thats easy. I have cramping as well that the doctor said is associated with release of an egg. I P'dOAS because I had one and was curious.
lol @ "not trying" when you aren't preventing and you have POAS already and are posting on this board
I'm not temping, I don't mark down on a calendar when my cycle starts and end. I don't have entire boxes of ovulation and pregnancy tests. I'm not eating any foods that are good for fertility or disregarding those that aren't. I don't plan on having sex, based on my cycle. I'm not taking vitamins or researching ways to increase fertility. I don't have a FF account.

I understand where your coming from but to most of us this is still trying.
If you want to get pregnant the prenatal vitamins have nothing to do with actually trying and everything to do with wanting a healthy baby.
You should probably look into starting on the prenatals just in case your "not trying" ends up giving you a BFP.
If you are having unprotected sex, you are trying, doesn't matter how you phrase it. Many women don't temp, take OPKs, etc. in order to get KU, and yet they still get KU.
Also, you should def. take prenatals, they are important to take before you get PG as the folic acid is important to help the fetus develop early on.
Finally, if you don't temp there's no way to know when you've Oed and if it's too early to test. If you don't get AF in a week test again.
