Waterproof mascara from the drugstore?

I need a waterproof mascara for an upcoming vacation. I was going to buy it during Nordstrom's B2G1 sale recently, but decided I didn't want to spend that much for a mascara I won't wear often.

I will be swimming, so it needs to really be waterproof and hopefully wouldn't make my lashes look spidery. Recommendations?

Another vote for covergirl. I use the waterproof stuff in the orange tube and am very happy with it.

I can't stand Covergirl mascaras...
I like Maybelline, they are the king of mascara for a reason! My usual fav is the colossal in the yellow tube, but they are all good.

I tried the CoverGirl for an every day mascara for the last couple months. It seemed to go on really thinly and, by the end of the day, it had all flaked off. I didn't love it and just switched back to the more pricey Mac. I will look into a couple of the others for a waterproof one, though. Thanks for all the recommendations!
