I'm going next week for a conference and haven't been for a few years. I will be staying on the strip, What are some food recs for dinner? Any price ranges.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain

Mon Ami Gabi (have only been there for breakfast though), the new buffet at Caesars (food was so much better than usual buffet dinners), Julian Serrano at Aria. If you like oysters we also really enjoyed the Oyster bar at Harrahs
When we went to Last Vegas last year my favorite restaurants of the trip were L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon (MGM) and Le Cirque (Bellagio).
Two of my FAVORITE restaurants. I've wanted to try the original Joel Rubochon in MGM but my wallet won't let me.
I think Mon Ami is good and reasonably priced, but IMO there are far better restaurants in Vegas for just a bit more money.
One of my favorite things to do in Vegas is enjoy a boozy brunch. I LOVE the brunch at Simons in Palms Place. For more of a party atmosphere, I've heard Lavo and Bagatelle are amazing. Not sure if they still do it, but the Sunday brunch at Zeffrino was life changing.
Wicked Spoon buffet at cosmopolitan Terrace Point Cafe at Wynn for breakfast Bouchon at Venetian - I've only been for breakfast Lakeside at Wynn - fine dining, seafood Cut at Venetian - fine dining, steak Craftsteak at MGM - fine dining, steak
Sooo many great restaurant options in Vegas! Seriously my favorite part of going there is eating. Just went there a few weeks ago pregnant and will be going out again in May, still pregnant. DH is shocked I want to go (both trips are work related).
Great suggestions! I'm thinking steak and sushi for sure.
Vegas have you been to Firefly? I'm going to dinner tomorow night with my friend that lives there and she said its really good. I also wish I had time for a boozy brunch but I won't
Firefly is great, I go there all the time. Get the bacon wrapped dates (even if you don't like bacon or dates!) and share a pitcher of the sangria or mojitos. So good!
I quite enjoyed Sage (at Aria), and it wasn't particularly expensive. I was especially impressed with their wine pairings, and a few months later, I actually saw them mentioned in a Wine Enthusiast article.

I loved this place! The bacon wrapped dates, shrimp ceviche, and the cherry chocalate bread pudding were pretty awesome!
Other place we went was Mon Ami Gabi. I had been there before but my co-workers hadn't and they loved it. And then the third night we just got drunk and never made it out to dinner! oh well!
