Hi! I'm in Indy. There has not been a GTG yet, but there will be, even if it's me by myself. Mark my words.
Why are you moving to Noblesville? What made you choose it over Carmel, Indy, or anywhere else around here? Indy (metro) is certainly not the most cultured place, but it's slowly changing. So there are a lot of things to dislike, but there are many things to like about it as well.
Yeah, I wouldn't have chosen Muncie either. A lot of people choose Pendleton and Anderson when working in Muncie, but I wouldn't do those either. Since you're looking for a job, I always highly recommend my employer because we have awesome benefits and the environment is, overall, positive. If you're curious, I can PM you.
Me! I'd love to GTG. Noblesville will be good, especially if you are close to 69. Good call on skipping Muncie (where half my family is from so I'm allowed to say that).
If you want to PM about your background I can suggest employers too.
I'm in Noblesville/Westfield (right on the line!) I don't post much because I'm pretty busy right now with work/grad school but I would love to do a GTG.
Absolutely skip Muncie. I go to BSU so I feel like I can say that too
I love the small town feel + bigger city amenities of Noblesville. There's a festival every week on the square it seems, but I can get to the airport and downtown and any store I could imagine (except IKEA.. sigh) in no time.
What part of Noblesville are you looking in? I'd be happy to suggest some areas to look!

I've just started lurking here recently since my H and I bought a new house. We're east coast transplants to the Indy area. Well, actually I grew up here so I guess I'm not really an east coaster, but it's been a long time since I lived here last.
I'm excited now to know some of the gorgeous houses on here are in Indy! :-)
Now that I know some of you are around here - where do you shop for H&G stuff in the area? I'm guessing Castleton/Keystone area has a ton of stores, but I'm not too close to there so I haven't really scoped it out yet.
The Fashion Mall at Keystone just got West Elm and has Restoration Hardware and PB. I mostly head to Castleton for decor stuff but I like Target, Home Goods, Garden Ridge (that's up in Noblesville off 37). Noblesville also has a lot of little boutique and antique shops that I love.
One of my favorite shops is Home in the City on Mass Ave in the city.

I don't live in or near Indy, but I work there (I live in a tiny rural town over an hour away). I used to post a bit on the Nest and on the Natural Birth and Cloth Diapering boards, but this is the first time I've actually posted here, since I keep getting logged out.
Target, HomeGoods (usually Carmel, although Castleton is bigger), Garden Ridge (off Lafayette Rd), World Market, anything at the Fashion Mall, Ikea (there are 3 within 3 hours), and Pier 1. Little shops on Mass Ave and in Broad Ripple and Zionsville often have good finds. There's a design center with a few stores in Carmel. Also, there's a great antique mall close to downtown.
