If it's like he prefers long hair and I want to cut it short, I'd get a haircut because whatever, it's hair, and it can always grow back. If he said he loves my face but I wanted to get a face tattoo, hopefully I wouldn't get a face tattoo.

Depends on what it is, but I would probably do whatever it was anyway. His love for me isn't just based on this ::giant hand gesture around body:: and when it comes to all this ::does another giant hand gesture around body:: I put my preference before H's.
If he likes my hair blonde, but I want to go brown, I'd do it.
If he likes that I volunteer with the elderly, but I want to quit, I'd take his opinion under advisement and hope he'd help me come up with solutions to balance my commitments.
If he likes that I remained silent while he went on rage benders, I'd find a new spouse.

*sits next to smock*
DH was sad when I cut all my hair off the first time, but now he loves it (but I think he likes it more because the products make my pillow smell pretty lol).

It's probably just me and my situation, but there's very little that I wouldn't change if I really wanted to based on H's opinion. To this date, for example he hasn't said whether or not he likes my new hair color. It's been almost 2 weeks.
If our situation was different, it would depend on what "it" was.

Hair/nails-who cares, it's hair/nails, They grow and paint comes off.
If he didn't want me to get a boob job and I really wanted one, I would consider his opinion-same for any other major cosmetic surgery (like a nose job but not botox). I don't think I would get any cosmetic surgery, but, who knows!
Personality wise... I don't know. I can't imagine wanting to change my personality and I can't imagine a change would be an easy thing to do. If HE wanted me to change my personality, yeah no. I could see him wanting me to stay the same, but if you don't like who I am, you shouldn't have married me!

I would do a temporary change just for fun if ddh asked me, but I cannot imagine him caring about something like hair color or hair length enough to ask me. That said, there is a particular, tiny detail about my physical appearance (more substantial than an ill-placed mole, but not as traffic-stopping as a third arm growing out of my skull) which he h-a-t-e-d and asked me on more than one occasion to change. I find the characteristic charmingly unique, though, and would never even consider the possibility of surgery to change it. So kind of the opposite of your question
Okay. If you must know, it's inverted nipples. He even did the research to find out that they're surgically alterable.
Ftr, its just a hair cut. He wouldn't get bent out of shape or anything, but he loves my hair long. I'm getting bored of it, and I had a dream it was like, miley Cyrus short and super cute But I almost always have regrets when I cut it too short though. I'm just in blah mode. Isn't that common for pregnancy though? Anyway, I just thought it'd be a good topic

OMG. I am ROTFL. I can't believe this would bother him so much.
When it comes to hair, I've started listening to my H. I get these wild ideas about cutting off all my hair even though I know it's a terrible idea, and he's the voice of reason. He loves my hair when it's long and reminds me of how much I end up complaining every time I cut it off. I've done it anyway enough times to have learned that he always ends up being right.
I find the nipples thing to be disturbing (on his part, not yours).
I admit I was peeved the first time, but honestly it became more of a running joke in our marriage. I find my inverted nipples particularly convenient when I'm cold. I see all you other ladies "at attention" and I say a little prayer of thanks! He thought they were beyond weird, though. (And when I was pregnant a np described them as "the invertedest nipples" she had ever seen, so they were also a source of pride

I am the opposite. I keep it short, but always want to try and grow it out and complain because I can't stand it. DH encourages me to keep it short.
My H keeps telling me to get a benign cyst surgically removed from my wrist because he keeps thinking it's cancer and it's fairly unsightly. I just kinda don't wanna.

If he wants my to get a tummy tuck and boob job then he can go fly a kite. Honestly I can't think of anything he has said he prefers, long hair or short, colored or natural. We have an imoan situation up in this house, where he is all gushy about loving me no matter what I look like/wear or do.

This is where I'm at. It's long and there is a ton of it even though I have fine hair and wavey, it pretty and I can occasionally bribe him to brush it which feels awesome but all I do alot is put it up in a messy bun thing. But I've grown it out after every cut. Maybe I should dye it something fun instead.
